I have followed a crooked road all my life and I wouldn't change it for anything! Wait, I take that back. I might have to rethink my marriage to my ex. Bu I would never trade my children for anything. So things are good.
I have always been and always will be a free spirit with an artist's soul. I like to get my hands muddy while I am working on a clay pot at my wheel. I love to travel, read, climb a mountain and fish from a mountain stream.
I will try to describe myself with some adjectives that I think are accurate and honest. I am independent, passionate, level-headed, fun to be around, warm, empathetic, artistic, intelligent, a good listener, kind, and giving.
I am always up for adventure, good friends, and my bags are always packed. I have a gypsy soul with traveling feet. I am divorced, and have 3 beautiful children, Sarah, Matthew, and Elizabeth. I have 3 grandchildren Grace, Emma, and Ella. I love my work and helping people. When I am not in my studio I am working with senior citizens. Finally after 40 years I have found my true calling in life.

I graduated from Wichita Falls High School, then Sarasota School of Fine Arts (1974), followed by Midwestern State University (2002).

1970 Football Game where we won State!

What's your least favorite memory of WFHS?

Typing class and math. The teacher always hit my knuckles with the ruler.

Patty did you go to Harrell? I went Harrell up to the 4th grade. I had Ms. White as one of my teachers. I remember I was at Harrell when they announce over the intercom that President Kennedy was shot. I was in the bathroom at the time? When I went back to the music class the teacher was crying. It's funny about how we can remember certain events when we were kids. Anyway, passing through and I saw your comment about Mark. So sad to hear about Mark. Brenda Clark Shepard
