Renetta Amador

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Southwest Texas State University. After graduation, I was the Program Director at “Out Youth Austin”, a center for at risk GLBT teens.

At the turn of the new millennium, I found myself itching to do something a little more creative with my career. So, at the surprise of everyone I knew, I put everything I owned into storage, moved to Los Angeles, and began a rigorous training program to become a Script Supervisor! (The person in charge of making sure continuity and shots are properly filmed and sequenced. AKA – the Director’s right-hand-woman)

I am currently enjoying a successful career in Los Angeles, CA as a Script Supervisor. (500) Days of Summer, Selma, A Wrinkle in Time, Dope, The Lords of Salem are a few of the movies I've worked on.

I love my career and the places it has allowed me to explore. I've gotten to work on movies in Montana, at Glacier National Park, Louisiana, Texas, and even in Mumbai, India and New Zealand. I can’t wait to see where my career takes me next!
