I attended Crockett, Zundy , 9th and 10th grade at WFHS. I graduated from The Hockaday School of Dallas and the University of Texas Austin. I moved to Dallas in 1978 where I still live today. I worked for The Park Cities News newspaper, D Magazine , and PaperCity magazine always on the advertising side. Now I do marketing and business development for a behavioral health company - The Renfrew Center - that treats females with eating disorders.

One hot end of the year school day, a car went roaring past the front of WFSH. The driver was speeding and honking feverishly. I think the entire student body went running to the windows to see what was going on. And in a flash- 3 of the 4 car windows were filled with guys “ mooning the school”. You had to look quick or you missed it. No one made a sound for a few seconds- pondering what had just happened. Then all of a sudden the biggest roar of laughter went up all over the entire building! The teachers just gave up trying to control the situation. School was dismissed and everyone went home. I don’t know if I ever knew who those guys were. But for me - even today ! - they gave me one great high school memory and I say THANKS!
