Fonda, I remember your brother well though I had not seen him since high school.  We are so sorry for your lost. I never had a brother or sister that I can remember and I always thought I was cheated.  I know a sibling relationship is very special. - Blessings - Mike & Ruby Wagoner

Happy Birthday to all celebrating birthdays this month!  Wynell, I had forgotten yours is the day after mine.  Hope you have a wonderful day - it's hard to believe that we this old!  In 1964, I doubt we even thought about being 70!  smiley

You are so right, Donna!  What we thought about in '74 was everything other than turning '70. (I just found your message.)  Happy Birthday to you!

For those of you who may be wondering---- within the Carnival Cruise booklet specifically states that a traveler on a US cruise line does not need a passport to visit as a tourist and on the cruise line.  Having the passport is not absolutely necessary; however, showing your passport makes your checkin a lot faster.

There is plenty to do on the cruise and excursions while in Cozumel and Progreso.  We can enjoy each other while on the trip.  I think that it is time for adventure.  Some of us may be running out of time. Why not use your time well.

Blessings to each of you turned or turning 70,  Never thought I would make it to this age.  Since I am not done living, I shall continue with adventures.  Please join me!

Dear Classmates,

I found a copy of the SH Rider first edition newspaper; before it had a name.  The date was Oct 31, 1961. Our Mother had saved it. You will notice her handwriting in the upper left hand corner of the first page.  I had to post  it as 10 separate jpeg images and they are in the Reunion Pictures section of this website. If they are not clear please let me know and I will try to post again in another format. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I have.  Here's wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  May God Bless you all and your families during this holiday season.

Best regards,

Bill and Esther Barrow

What can I say about Sue Ann Harper McMurray?  She was delightful, incredible, funny, a joy to be around and anyone that met her fell in love with her. To say she will be missed, is an understatement. Rest in Peace our precious, sweet friend......Shirley Kay

Our Gabfest luncheon group which meets regularly (before COVID) in Plano will truly miss sweet SueAnn. She was our forever friend, sweet, funny, and kind. She rarely missed driving from WF to join us to share fond memories of our childhood. You will truly be missed!💕

I was so sad to hear of Sue Ann's passing... What a sweet, kind fun and  funny  girl she always was. So many of us did Ben Milam (before it was Cunningham) then Cunningham, Barwise and Rider together. Does anyone else remember that Sue Ann had a signature "scent"....WHITE SHOULDERS. She always smelled beautiful..I wonder if she still wore it as an adult. . I actually have only been able to come to one of the WF GABFESTS and the first person I ran into was Sue Ann.. and she recognized me...after 50 years and it was as though time stood still!  She was recovering from a surgery, but did not skip a beat in enjoying herself. My heart and prayers are with her family!

Martha, yes, I remember the White Shoulders scent and the unforgettable yellow suede heels she wore to a party.  She looked incredible, as always. What a special person she was and will always be remembered for so many wonderful qualities.  ~Shirley Bates Griffin

I know that Sue Ann was special - a good friend and definitely a part of a group of Junior High and High School girls that knew how to enjoy life to the fullest.  She was always someone you could count on.  She will truly be missed.

Welcome to the 2010's Rick.  I remember Vail and the Highlands from years past during days when my legs would carry me down the slopes on Riva Ridge, High Noon, or China Bowl....those are the only ones I remember.  I'm only a watcher these days with a hot toddy in the hands at the bottom.

HI Rick. I just posted a comment on your page.

Glad to hear you are doing well. Thanks for the shout out, however, Bob was the track star. I do remember some of our golf games with the three of us at Weeks Park golf course. My problem was that I couldn't get that little ball to do what I wanted it to do. Hope you have a great Christmas, Stay safe and hang in there.

Bill
