Rick Frendle and I kept in close touch until he passed away a few years ago, We were friends through elementary, jr high, high school and college.

My story since graduation

Attended & graduated from Friends University in 1968. Taught school in Haysville for 3 years. Masters degree from WSU 1971. Administrator in Wichita School District from 1971-1976. Earned a Ph.D from the University of Oklahoma in 1981. Assistant Superintendent & Superintendent in Eagle County, CO, Lake Havasu, AZ, Los Alamos, NM, Laredo, TX, Lawton, OK & Grand Prairie, TX. Last employment was at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX as a professor in the College of Education. Retired in 2017 and in 2021 Karyl & I moved back to Wichita where we still have family.

Jenny was a true extrovert always reaching out to all who crossed her path. I recall her greeting at the 50th reunion when she professed her true love for me. of course she said the same to all the guys at the reunion. I suspect she is even now reaching out to all whereever she may be.

David was always friendly and reached out to others regardless of one's station in life or one's background. So sorry for his passing but happy for the opportunity to visit with him at the 50th reunion.
