Ladena Patterson Campbell

Soon after I graduated, I opened my own day care business that I ran for about four years. When my youngest (Tami)started preschool, I started WSU, where I received my Masters in Special Education. I began working in the Wichita school district in 1998 and have been there happily teaching special education since. I divorced the man I married in high school when my youngest was 17. Since then I have met a wonderful man that I am now married to. He has two children. We now have 5 grandchildren!
In June of 2010 I opened Joy's Hope Summer Academy - a summer school for children with special needs.

Many happy memories related to the Child Day Care Services class and Ms. Texanita Randle. I was the shy one who rarely talked to anyone. I was pregnant with my first child the second half of senior year and still graduated with decent grades. I loved working with children then and still do today...
