Wichita, Kansas - Heaven's gates have opened for our beloved sister Sheryl "Sherry" Ann Bilson. Sherry has joined her parents, Harry A. and Joan Bilson in Heaven, this day November 13, 2021. She was born on October 28, 1944 in Wichita, Kansas. Sherry was the eldest of six children and will be missed by her surviving five siblings, John Bilson, Victor Bilson, Mary Bilson, Dietrie and brother-in-law Don Haynes, Janet and brother-in-law David Griffiths and many nieces and nephews. Sherry had a passion for the arts, music, food and other cultures, learning everything she could. She even taught English as a second language to many students from various countries during her employment with KanSel in Wichita. Her quest for knowledge was never ending, nor was her passions. Memories and events will be forever bittersweet for all of us. Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 1:00 PM in Meadowlark Venue at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E 13TH St., Wichita, KS 67206. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N Oliver Ave, Wichita, KS 67208. Memorial to The Lord's Diner, 520 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67214.
