Dear North High 1968 Classmates,

Begin making your plans to attend our 55th North High Class Reunion the weekend of October 6th and 7th this fall. As mentioned previously, this reunion will be a bit more relaxed than some of the previous reunions. We wanted this reunion to focus on more mingling and catching up with everyone instead of a fixed program. All events will be FREE to encourage attendance and to establish a more relaxed atmosphere.

Friday, October 6th we will have a mixer at The Brass Taproom at Side Pockets, 614 S Tyler (Kellogg & Tyler), starting at 7:00 PM. The Brass Taproom is a separate venue located inside of Side Pocets. We have the venue reserved just for our class with plenty of room to socialize. We plan on having a variety of food item on hand to satisfy your munchies.. Beverages are "on your own."  You can also order anything off of the Side Pockets' regular menu.(Side Pockets Wichita.)

Saturday, October 7th is the North High All Class Open House at the school from 9 am to 12 pm. We will have our own room to meet and greet. Activities include Hall of Fame inductions, school tours with food and memorabilia offered by the various student and booster organizations..

On Saturday evening, Anita Griep Tideman, has graciously offered her home in the country, just North of Wichita, for an old fashion "Woodsie" and BBQ. Starting time is 5:30 PM. We will cater in BBQ from one of our local BBQ kitchens. This activity is most dependent on the final number of attendees so please register if you plan to attend. More details will follow.

While the events are all FREE, there is still a cost of putting together our 55th Reunion. We had some very generous donations for the 50th that allowed us to not only host a memorable reunion, but also contribute $7,500 to the general scholarship fund at North and purchase our 1968 Class Bench in the North High courtyard. Long story short, our class reunion fund is a little on the low side right now. Therefore, we would encourage all of classmates to make a donation, in whatever amount you can, to our reunion fund through the donations icon on the website.

If you are planning on attending the reunion, please register by clicking on the "Register For Reunion" in the red box on the left of this page.  We need to get a fairly good idea on how many classmates and guests are attending. Registration deadline is September 22, 2023. Look for more announcements to follow as things progress.

It will be great to once again get together, share memories and catch up.
