Kirk grew up down the street (Riverlawn). Knew him since grade school. There were probably 50 kids on Riverlawn and Perry that were within 4 years of each other. Kirk was always tall and skinny and played basketball at Marshall. I remember him at North as a quiet nice guy. He was into audio visual and I believe helped with school productions. Later moved to California and worked in lighting for popular game shows. Sorry to learn of his passing
I found out about Kirk's death as I was leaving the reunion this Fall. He and I spent a part of nearly every day while we were at North together on the stage. We lost track of each other for a couple of decades. I was able to find him before Chris took a business trip to LA one time and went with her. Kirk and I got together at our hotel and had a good visit. Then we lost track of each other again until I found him on FaceBook.
