Charles R. Walker age 50, Vietnam Veteran, B & B Trenching employee, died Monday Sept 17, 2001. Memorial service 7 P.M. Friday, St Jude Catholic Church; graveside service 10 A.M., Saturday Wichita Park Cemetery. Survivors: wife, Clemencia, step-son Brian, stepdaughters Joana, Michelle; Sister Kathryn Epperly of Wichita. Cochran Mortuary

Also met Chuck Walker in the summer of 1968....saw a friend to both us...run over a new striped t-shirt that he had... for some reason he taken off. Funny as heck, Chuck got really mad!!..Remember him, Rick Cooper, & I went racingdown to watch the Christmas tree lights being turned on at in Riverside Park. Rememeber going to Colorado with him & Rick....Chuck dancing on his tip toes with hitching boots on. Then we when to the Ozark Mountain Festival in 1974....remember Chuck walking around all 6' 8" of him in a boots with pair cut-offs. What a gentle giant of a friend. Have more stories about Chuck, but better stop here. Last time I saw Chuck was 1990. Miss my friend Chuck Walker!
