WALTER W. CLAYPOOL

A lifetime of interesting occupations and adventures. The last 25 years, prior to retirement in 2018, I was the principle owner and CEO of Customfold, Inc. We manufactured Accordion and Folding Door Partitions and sold these products, thru Distributors, throughout much of the world.

Tip Millar, Don Spence, Gene McAffee, and I (Bill Claypool)were "confrunted" by Jeane Elliott, Nancy Clark and Linda Wake. They explained that there was a new 9th period study hall teacher, that they were skipping school, and invited us four to join them. "They'll never know!", the girls promised. We ran out of the gym and piled into my '37 Chevvy. During our cruising the town, we were noticed by Mrs. McGregor as she was leaving the Post Office.
The following morning, Nancy and I were summoned from Band practice, and joined the other five in Mr. Scott's office. We all were suspended for three days.

Tip Millar and I were "acting like first graders" and were told by our 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Wright, "go down to the first grade, where you belong". Once there, we were assigned the jobs of buttoning up the little.girls' and boys' coats, wiping noses and forming their line. Including Tip and I, we all marched to the exit door.
