I remember meeting that "new girl" from eastlake at the Willoughby pool. We all thought she was a "fox". Great memories of attending homecoming with Barb. She was so kind and so friendly. Great times in Marching band- I remember celebrating her 18th birthday at her moms place in Kilarney apts. We all played softball at the ball field. I remember the last time I saw her- She was full of life and happiness- She introduced me to her fiance. Another classmate I think of often
I remember her well from school and then after graduation, she worked with me at Gale's Bi-Rite for a bit and I saw her some again when I owned the Convenient Food Mart in Mentor..I was saddened when I had to read when she passed..Way too soon! Barb
I remember Barb when she moved in right next door to me in Willoughby Hills in the glen. She was very nice and easy to get to know. Her mom had married my next door neighbor, but unfortunately it was not to last and she moved away. The last time that I saw her, she seemed very happy to me. I was so sad to hear of her passing not long after. Rest in peace Barb, you are missed. G
I worked with Barb during high school at the Willoughby McDonalds. She was one of the few females to actually work in the food prep area as well as on the front line. She was always able to bring a smile to my day.
When the choir went to New Jersey, I gave Barb my ticket to go see Steve Martin "That Wild and Crazy Guy!".
I ran into Barb at Lakeland about a year after graduation, but never saw her after that. I am saddened to hear of her passing. She was a very memorable person.
When did she pass? I couldn't find anything via a web search about it.
Barb was a Jr high cheerleader with me. I was always jealous of her athletic abilities. I heard something just a few years after graduation, that she had passed, but maybe that was wrong because I found this posting this evening and the birth date of the person fits. https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/166201888/barbara-ann-ratzman
