Bill Henrich

I graduated from Miami University in 1982. I recently completed my 25th year teaching with the Mentor Schools. I have been active with the South High Boosters working bingo most Monday nights. I am busy keeping up with my girls schooling and extra curriculars. I live in my childhood home on Waldamere in Willoughby. My latest adventure has been playing in a Celtic band with Dale Mitchell- He is a fantastic bagpipe player, his brother plays the guitar and I play a boudran (sp) drum- a single drum head - looks much like an indian drum that you play with a single double headed stick- I have my own unique style that is not even close to great boudran drum players- but I can keep a beat- It has been great to catch up with Dale- he is a lifelong friend that interestingly enough has gone to preschool, kindergarten, elementary school, junior high, high school, and even college with me- the college was a coincidence unless Dale is a closet stalker- come to think of it- there was this time at band camp- nah- just kidding. We played at a bar on St Patrick's Day and recently had our first paying gig at a private party in Chardon- we were in full uniform- kilts and all- well, I was in all= Dale has done this too many times= you will have to ask him what they wear under those kilts= ha perhaps Dale or I will post a picture of the two of us!

Many great memories of Marching band (especially band camp), Does anyone remember the dance we had as seniors on the tennis courts after a football game? Many memories of going out with Leggat, Silvaroli, Danner, Zelazny, Plewacki, Trewhitt, (remember guarding the mansion on Ridge road before it was torn down where Breckenridge now sits?)Mitchell.
