As many of you know, one of your classmates, Dave Daugherty was killed in action in Beruit on December 4th 1983. The city of Eastlake has recently renamed the Willow-Green park the David L. Daugherty park in honor of his ultimate sacrifice.
We are hoping to dedicate the park/memorial on Memorial day 2009 along with Eastlakes' normal observance.
I have no way of knowing how many of his classmates are still in the area or how many may be interested in this news but if you could please pass on the information, it would be appreciated.
