Doug's Latest Interactions
Sorry to hear about Dick"s passing in December. My brother Ron (Allan) and you and Dick had a special
friendship that started at RHS and lasted through the years in Toronto and moves across the country.
There was also a special bond with Molson's ( Jack Livingstone and his wife Heather(I believe her name is).
Those special white leather Rebel jackets were a badge of pride. Hang on to the great memories
and times that you and Dick shared. Doug Allan
My late brother Ron and I benefitted greatly from Coach Giroux in both athletic and academic support.
Roy wrote me a letter of recommendation just prior to me starting my teaching career. He made
great contributions to Riverside High(REBELS) and went on to greater accomplishments in his career.
Doug Allan
One of the best teachers at RHS. For us struggling French students , he was always helpful
and encouraging. He was also a great guy , you could come to for guidance and suggestions.
It sounds like he continued on from Riverside and had a great career. Doug Allan
