Taught High School Phys-Ed French Spanish mostly in Chatham ON for 33.5 years. Retired to Meaford in 1995. Great tranquil beautiful area on Georgian Bay.
Best memories besides reuniting with Judith-sabbatical year travelling in Latin America from Mexico to Argentina and back, 16 countries in all. Got my Spanish up to speed (1973-74). Took an exchange year in France (78-79). Lived in Haute Savoie, French Alps travelled much of Europe including behind the Iron Curtain to Rumania. Great year!
Funny but the first thing that comes to mind was a couple of "friends??" trying to see if Bernie Buller fit in a locker. (He almost did).
Just hanging 'round with Alan Greenwood & Ted Weir always was fun and most memorable.
Basketball games at all hours in the Girard yard on Prado.

Ron and Robin seemed to be living a great life on their oceanfront farm in NB, Ron's artistic nature was in evidence as he built a sound reputation as a wood craftsman in his furniture making business-hobby. Ron and Robin were well inserted into NB culture, Ron took pride and satisfaction in his contacts with lobster fishermen and looked forward to "lobster time". They both enjoyed their canine family. I never got to meet Robin in person. Her own creative side, especially with a camera, built a matrix of photographic memories of their lives together. Ron's easy-going open personality will leave an ocean of friends in the wake of his passing. I know he wil be missed.

As another denizen of "Lower Prado", I first knew the Service sisters as occasional babysitters. Vera and Eunice were always congenial and as Ken Caunce stated were our slightly older "senior" role models. Always respected.

Wishing you a happy day for this formidable event.
We are very sorry to hear of John's passing. We had a chance to talk at one of Jack's last reunions. We hadn't seen each other for a half century but had no trouble remembering old times. RIP Best wishes to Donna at this stressful time.
The old RHS crew is getting smaller.

We lived on Prado and when we were young (in the 50s) we would often hear John(ny) practising the pipes from his home on Thompson Blvd.. Bob Walton was also proud of his nephew John.

I second Ken Caunce's comments of RHS friend "McTague" with whom I shared many a lunch hour walk homeward bound along Ontario Street. I remember because we were both interested in language and languages that as we strolled Mick initiated fairly long conversations in French or Latin. Although it had to be pretty rudimentary linguistically Mick tught me that we could actually communicate without using English. I'm sure that his interest and instruction led me to a career in teaching where languages played a significant rôle. Although I hadn't seen Mick in going on a half century I have frequently remembered his influence and gently cutting sense of humour.
Pete was a great teacher and a great coach. He exerted a significant influence on my life's direction.
