BOB. I haven't kept in touch with anyone since 1971 but I thought there might be a 50 anniversary so I just learned about this site last week (2018May26). I live in Olympia WA. My wife & I went to the George Fox Christmas concert last year & loved it. We tried to get our daughter to enroll there but she went to Messiah in PA instead. GF is a great school. My wife & I attend some homeschool training there back in the 80s. Perhaps our paths will cross there?
CAROL, What a surprise. I have not kept in touch with anyone since 1971 when I broke up with Katie Cohen. You are in Marion, IA. I have relatives there (Jim Mullenix family). Jim's wife is my cousin. Jim was a car salesman. I was born in Cedar Rapids and moved to Northfield in 1959. I've lives in Idaho (college) and WA State since 1969 with 7 years in Mongolia (2008 thru 2014). I looked for this site as I thought there might be a 50th anniversary and was surprised to see that there have been several gatherings in the past. How are you?
LARRY,
I haven't been in touch with any of our classmates since 1969! I wonder if we can get the old Scouts together at the reunion? (Rick Schram, Alan Gelb, Hans Hugnesta?... ) Jim Sedore
RICK!
What a surprise to read your comment. In 1967-1973 I worked intermittently for the Village of Winnetka as their Dutch Elm Disease coordinator. That led me into studying Forestry and a career. As Arborculturalist for the University of Idaho, I designed the landscape plans for the new Law College, several collections of trees in the University arboretum and other projects. Perhaps Scouts was the beginning of all of that? Looking forward to hearing from you. Jim
