Jane White Ward writes: Cynthia C. Meyers went to Colorado College. I would like to share a poem she wrote before she passed away of cancer in 1971. Sometimes When the wind is a kiss through a veil of sun-glinted hair, I slip away and recall When life was a whistle that echoed in the mist of morning And elfin magic abounded in dandelions and milkweed pods that burst into puffs of fairy wings.
