Keating
Paul Calvin Keating, 87, of Winnie, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on May 6, 1926, in Loveland, Colorado, to Grace and Francis Keating.
Paul was the owner of Keating Chevrolet, Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge and Jeep Motor Company, of Winnie. He was a kind and just man who loved his family more than life. Paul enjoyed traveling with his wife and children, enjoyed cars and sports and will be missed by all.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Pat Keating of Winnie; brother, John F. Keating and his wife, Barbara of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughters, Susie Newton, of Houston, and Jackie Boelsen and her husband, Fred of Baytown; sons, John Keating and his wife, Kathy of Richardson; Bill Keating and his wife, Sarah of Beaumont; Carl Keating and his wife, Pam of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
A gathering of Paul’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 30, 2013, at First United Methodist Church of Winnie-Stowell, 1708 State Highway 124, Winnie, with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Keating's name to First United Methodist Church of Winnie-Stowell, P. O. Box 1570, Winnie, Texas 77665, or to the charity of your choice.
