Mike Mueller, Sr., 58, of Winnie, died Friday, May 17, 2013, at Winnie Community Hospital of Winnie. He was born on May 23, 1954, in Houston, to Helen Marie Branch Mueller and Donald Ray Mueller.
Mike worked in the automotive industry as a paint and body technician. He was an avid racecar fan and enjoyed fishing and motorcycling. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda O’Banion Mueller of Winnie; sons, Michael Mueller, Jr., of Winnie; Richard Carter and his wife, Melissa, of Nome; Markal Carter and his wife, Laura, of Winnie; daughters, Christine Bruce and her husband, Mike, of Cove; and Melissa Bourque and her husband, Elzey, of Winnie; grandchildren, Christin Carter; Richard Carter; Kaitlyn Carter; Olivia Bruce; Jack Bruce; and Devin Ledoux; great-grandchild, Allison Cardenas; and numerous other family members and friends.
A gathering of Mr. Mueller’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 20, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, Winnie.
