I grew up playing with Kenny (and Billy) as we lived down the street from the Miller's house. Kenny and Billy were the only brothers I know of who fought more than James (Bubba) and I...sometimes I would just know they were going to seriously hurt one another. Kenny was cool because his grandmother (Ms. Franklin) would give us cold drinks and candy...and give us deposits on bottles we'd bring in even though she knew we had obtained them from behind her store.
Kenny had a tougher upbringing than most, through no fault of his own. I can identify with the challenges we both faced in our earlier years. Rest in peace Kenny.
