KAREN ANN OLEK LAZARUK

February 6, 1959 - June 1, 2014

Sadly on Sunday, June 1, 2014 Karen passed in peace. Her spirit, love and fight will be carried on through her children Cole and Sherri (Kevin), cherished grandchildren Cassius and Eva, her mom Margo and stepfather Graham Eggleton, siblings Jim (Karen), Sandy and Wendy, nephews Bobby, Eric and Austin, as well as extended family and friends. Karen was predeceased by her father Nick and grandparents. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of angels at the Oncology Clinic at Concordia Hospital. A Celebration of Karen's Life will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transcona Legion, 117 Regent Avenue East. If you know Karen you know to wear purple. Also a sincere thank you to Karen's best friends Kelly and Grant. They were her greatest supporters throughout, you two are amazing and our family will be forever grateful. "Have fun and be good!"
