Mr. Roy Francis Choquette, Jr., 27, of Shelby, formerly of Winston-Salem, died July 24, 1981, at his home.  Mr. Choquette was born July 15, 1954, in Forsyth County, to Roy F. and Susan Sprager Choquette.  He was a graduate of R.J. Reynolds High School, class of '72 and attended East Carolina University.  Mr Choquette was an employee of Copeland, Inc. of Kings Mountain.  Surviving are his mother and father; two sisters, Miss Carolyn Jean Choquette or Corvallis, Oregon and Mrs. David (Anne) Furbish of Arcata, California; one brother, Guy Robert Choquette of Winston-Salem.  Funeral service were at Vogler's Reynolda Road Chapel.  Graveside service was conducted at Oakdale Cemetery, Mt. Airy. The family requested memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
