Christy Leffert Williams

Lived in Florida for a long while after graduation, finally got my undergrad in Miami in Journalim while working for a national advertising/marketing company. Got married in 1999 to a fellow Lake Howell-er (Dave Williams, 1986), who I started dating in 1990... and we moved to Atlanta where I was an account brand manager for an advertising group.

Spent more years traveling, playing and working with my husband until we both decided to settle down and our son, Cole, was born just 4 years ago. He has changed my life for the best!

I went back to school to get my Master's degree at Agnes Scott College in Secondary English Education and this is my first year teaching. I'm at a great school here in metro Atlanta teaching Creative Writing, while I work diligently on making that travel thing happen again!

My husband and I have been together now for 18 years; I have gray hair that I desperately try and conceal w/ hair dye, and it's now impossible to sleep in or predict what will happen w/ a 4 year old in my life.

I can predict, though, ....that I will consider attending our reunion...

I just remember that back in the 80's, it was apparently socially (or academically?) acceptable for a yearbook teacher to smoke in the school (afer last period) during yearbook crunch time. I thought it was funny at the time & think it's still funny-even more so now that something like that would never fly!!The 80's......
