Michael Lomonaco

I married my awesome wife Amanda in 2000. In August of 2004 we moved to the Sacramento area, where I worked as an Electrical Engineer for Northrop Grumman. We then started our family in 2005 with our firstborn.

After getting laid off from NG in late 2011, I began employment at GE Aviation in Cincinnati, OH (in early 2012).

Between working, spending time with the wife and kids, and taking care of "stuff" (house, cars, etc.), free time is pretty minimal.

When I do get some though, I enjoy reading, playing basketball, exercising (working out, running, etc), watching MMA, and working on our online presence (family web page, blog).

I also spend a lot of time in church/God-related functions, including Bible studies, small groups, and helping out with the high school youth group at our church.

I enjoyed the occasional party (especially in my senior year), and wrestling sure got me in good shape. But my favorite thing about high school was skipping it to go to the beach. In fact the beach is the one thing (besides family) that I miss the most about Florida.

I remember our beach trips consisting of hanging out with friends (and my sister's friends from Lyman HS too). Cruising while checking out the whole scene, trying to find a freakin' parking spot. Leaving our trunks or hatches open so we can still listen to the music from our cars. Sometimes surfing or playing volleyball. Sleeping under the sun on a towel. Stopping at either a back-road sub place or a pizza buffet on the way home. Riding in the back of pickup trucks. Getting in driving wars (throwing things at each others' cars). Good times!
