Went to Ohio State, graduated in '94 with a B.A. in pre-unemployment (aka History). Decided that I needed to do something in order to be employable, so I went to law school, also at Ohio State.
Graduated in '97, went to work for the Licking County prosecutor's office in Newark, OH. Left there in 2000 for the Columbus City Prosecutor's Office. My wife and I moved to Chicago in 2003, and I started working for the Cook County Public Defender's office in 2004. In late 2009, we decided to come back to Columbus, at least in part so that I could open my own law firm.
I'm now in private practice with two other lawyers, both former prosecutors for the City of Columbus. I do mostly criminal and traffic defense, with some domestic relations law.
