Well a few years after high school, I discovered who I probably always was deep inside by coming out of the closet much to the chagrin of family at first. In 2006 I re-established an old friendship with a woman named Stephanie who ended up being my soulmate. My family has come around slowly to realizing everything is as it should be in my life. Steph and I married in 2010 (got legally married this past February in Woodstock New York). We own a cute Craftsman style home in Clintonville, a few miles south of Worthington. We have a house full of furry children, and have been working on getting actually pregnant since 2010. Career wise, it took me a few years, changing majors and colleges to find what I have truly meant to do, help people. I am a licensed independent social worker and have a special passion working with folks who have complex trauma backgrounds. In my spare time, I like to run, do yoga, hang out with my nieces and my little unique nuclear family.

As I look back on high school, I can truly say that I loved it. I felt like I had so many different kinds of friends who were really genuine and interesting people. We thought we were the funniest people in the universe - I remember getting kicked out of really lame establishments like JoAnn Fabrics, and different restaurants for just causing a raucous with Jenny and John or walking through the Rallys drive thru at Carriage Place with Vera. I remember standing in the "hall of fame" section at the end of the school day and putting on interpretive dance concerts for other students as they left for the day- We thought it was pee-your-pants hilariosity at the time. Wow how the definition of funny changes over the years!!!
