My life is bright and full of love. I am blessed with beautiful (inside & out) children and grandchildren- and a partner who is loving and kind.
As a composer/playwright, music therapist, & educator
my mission has been to create and produce musicals as vehicles to
to foster inclusion, empathy, acceptance and respect.
I am still working hard to bring my work to a broader audience. In the world we are living in, children need opportunities to interact with others who are 'different' than themselves. My musicals and the songs that frame them, all focus on deterring hate/bullying and finding common ground to work together to ultimately find connection and to value every person.
The documentary, ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FENCE shares the mission and conveys the messages of my work as a music therapist. It aired nationally in 2015, and is distributed by American Public Television. The film won the gold medal from the NY International Film Festival, a special award from the United Nations and a mid-atlantic Emmy.

I was extremely surprised and honored to receive the 2019 “Teacher as Hero” award from the National Liberty Museum in Philadelphia!

Currently, I am the director of the New Horizons
Senior Glee club based in Narberth, Pa.
We are a group of seniors who love to sing. We perform in senior communities throughout the Phila. area. We engage senior audiences and have great fun. I am seeking new singers for the 2026-2027 season. Reach out to me, if you're interested.

I'm also creating some new musicals. One is about the experience of aging- something I'm learning about every day! lol It is a revue style - with lots of humor and seriousness. If anyone wants to contribute their ideas for a song, Let me know.The revue is called "I'M STILL HERE".
