Remembering my best friend Conni, who passed away around the time of our 45th reunion.  We became friends when we were 10 years old and her family moved to the neighborhood where mine lived in Flourtown.  We were friends all through our school years, and stuck together through marriages, the births of our children, and many other life events.  I remember learning to play guitar together, and playing and singing (or trying to singsmiley) all sorts of folk songs.  Music was one of our strongest connections.

I'll never forget the care and support Conni provided for me when my oldest son passed away.  I wish I had been there more for her during her final years when she was very disabled by progressive MS, and was living in a nursing home in the city.

I still miss you and think about you most days, Conni!  Wish we could be together at the reunion. heart
