I'm so sorry it turned out this way, but I was already considering canceling due to the low turnout. So I would be in favor of simply canceling. It has been fun though to be on the site and catch up through electronic connection. I sure appreciate all the work you've done for this and hope we can continue to stay in touch.

Thanks,

Stephanie

I say we contiune to hold the events as planned as long as there is not a problem with the Elks. Wish more people could come! Is there any way last minute people can join at least for Friday night? Seems like there is a lot of our class mates in Yakima that haven't signed up yet! Come on guys in 10 more years we may not remember any body!

Jana, I don't mind who shows up Friday and Saturday day.  It would be great if more locals wanted to come.

I'm game for whatever you decide, but 14 days is getting down to the wire for canceling the Saturday night Dinner. There may be a fee because the Elks were holding the room and could of sold it to another group. All off that information should be in the Catering contract.

I texted Debbie Britz-Walker, and the Restaurant She is Manager of the 11th Avenue Cafe is open that night until 6pm. She said, She could take a reservation from 5p-7p. It's a small place, but the food is good and they do have there Liquor license.

We could also just make a large group reservation at other Restaurants, bar or a Pizza place. Too bad Jackson's went out of business. The Sports Centre on Yakima Avenue has been recently Remodeled and has good food.

Anyway, just my two cents 🤪 Jo McLain

Hey All,

I'm sorry to do this, but we're not going to make it this year. Work is eating my lunch. (Helping low- and moderate-income families find safe, clean, affordable housing in this environment is pretty tough sledding).

Please feel free to offer our paid-for dinners to anyone that hasn't yet registered & is able to attend.

I'm sorry not to be there & see you all. Have a wonderful time!

Too bad more people haven't taken interest in our reunion, might be the last time some of us see each other. That being said, I have a family commitment that weekend and I still plan to attend the events. However, if Saturday dinner is a financial strain, OK with me to cancel it. Friday night and the IKE tour and picnic would be fine.

I just had a thousand bucks in home repair this week, so I was thinking about skipping it, but at the same time I'd like to see whoever does arrive. I'll arrive in town on Saturday in time for the campus tour and the Saturday evening dinner, but I've cancelled my Friday hotel and travel.

Anyone know what time the dinner starts tonight?  I can't seem to find a start time.
