Diane Lynn DiPietro

I went to Prendergast and then to Penn State and then took a MA in TESOL(Teaching English as a Second Language) in Cambridge, England. I married a Londoner who is a professor and we have lived in Cambridge, England; Brasilia, Brasil; New Haven, Ct; Durham, NC and Bloomington, Indiana. I have taught English as a Second Languae to graduate student teaching assistants in universities and worked in graduate school administration.

I remember so many things: beanies, being lined up according to height in the May procession; walking the black top; Diane Dwyer always getting highest general average;Mary Jane Nihill, the best server on the volleyball team; the long headings beginning with "JMJ" we had to write on all our papers and naming the "pagan" babies-$5 collected in little houses, and that long pole to open the windows.......
