Marie Bernadette Nuckols was in the 1959 class at St. Louis School. After graduating from Prendie in 1963 she worked at First Pennsylvania Bank in town. On May 10, 1969 Marie married Mike Curry from Good Shepherd Parish. They had two children Kathleen and Michael. The Curry family lived in Glenolden for several years then moved to Green Acres in Wilmington, Delaware. Marie worked for AstraZeneca until her death on March 30, 2002. On Holy Thursday, Marie was rushed to the hospital with an aneurysm and died on Holy Saturday night. Marie was an organ donor so her organs were harvested and removed on Easter morning. How appropriate that on Easter, Marie gave new life to others. That was so like her.
Marie and Mike Curry got married on May 10, 1969. They raised 2 great children, Kathleen and Michael. Kathleen is now married to Chuck Lugay and they have 4 beautiful children: Cal, Liam, Finnigan and Lilah Marie. They live in Matawan, NJ. Michael is married to Carrie and they have 2 beautiful children: Elizabeth Marie and John Michael. They live in Lexington, KY.
