Diane and Tom O'Neill were happily married for 41 years.
She was one of the most beautiful people I ever had the pleasure of being friends with. We knew each other for 50 years and I was the Maid of Honor in her wedding.
.
Diane always knew who she was a where she was going.
Simply put she was a child of God, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a loyal friend. We remained friends through the good time and through trails and tribulations
Here are a few examples of “The Trials and Tribulations”
Death of Tom’s parents, her parents, my parents, the man I was going to marry, her younger sister, our pets, her children’s adventures and of course her grandchildren’s adventurers.

What will all of us miss most?
Her unselfish love of Jesus, of life, the stories about her adventures – you know her children growing up, the grandchildren’s first steps and words, Christmas and other eventful pictures, yes her pets adventures., her encouraging words – “You can do anything you put you mind to”, her up beat attitude, to telling off a rude person. No one and I mean one I have met could turn a phrase like Diane. It would make you laugh out loud. Diane had a great sense of humor and she proved it in her wit and writing talents. She had more love in her little pinky than most folks have in their whole body.
Do you know the most beautiful thing God can do for his children? What he did for Diane. She laid down to take a nap and never woke up.
Now that is what I call a great ending to a righteous life.
She was a blessing and I miss her greatly.
