After graduation like most everyone else I went onto college, attending YSU. It was there I met my husband Don George, and in of all places, a Calculus class. We did our student teaching together thru the Canfield Project, a special YSU satellite campus set in Canfield High School. We made history as the only couple to ever marry from the project. We wanted a June wedding and picked our date only to find out that YSU choose the same date for graduation. Yes we graduated and married the same day at St Columba, where we are currently members. We have been happily married for 44 years and have 4 children. Over the years our family has grown large by today's standards, including 11 grandchildren and counting. We are blessed that they all live within 2 miles of our home, and that all the grandkids are or will attend Canfield Schools, where my husband teaches and our children are alumni. So needless to say we are all very involved Canfield Cardinals. And I will continue to cheer, "Go Cards".
