My mom still lives in Joshua Tree so I try to visit at least once a year.

I went to CSULB and earned my degree in Psychology. I then continued on to get my elementary teaching credential.

After high school I moved to Long Beach for college. I lived there for 4 years and then moved in with my future in laws in Rancho Palos Verdes. After my husband and I got married, we moved to Pomona for a year, lived in Long Beach for 2 years, and lived in San Pedro for one year. In June we left California, and moved to Pennsylvania so my husband could do his residency.

I have been married to John Pester since June 17, 2006.

I was a teacher in Torrance, California. I taught for 3 years before I was laid off due to budget cuts. I subbed for another year in Torrance before we moved to Pennsylvania. I am currently hoping to start substitute teaching soon so that I can look for a full time job next year.

I am a glass fuser, knitter, and crocheter. I like to do anything creative. I love to read too.

Besides traveling to Hawaii, Pennsylvania is the farthest I have been from home.

I would love to go to Europe and see all of the art and culture.
