Scott, age 65, was born on April 1, 1958, and passed away in his home in Trenton, MI on December 6th, 2023.

Scott was born in Detroit, MI in 1958. After graduating from Crestwood High School, he attended General Motors Institute (Kettering), where he obtained his bachelor's degree and was a member of the Michigan Delta Phi Deltas. He worked in the automotive industry for 40 years.

He traveled to many places for both work and pleasure, including Australia, Germany, Sweden, Death Valley, Hawaii, Mexico, Aruba, and the Key West. Scott was an avid musician and performer, taking part in many rock bands throughout his life, as well as performing in theatrical musical shows.

He enjoyed wildlife and nature, as well as scuba diving, hiking, camping, and boating. He was a sports fan, as well as a fan of his sons and daughter, attending nearly all of their sporting events throughout their high school and college educations.

Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Costello, in June of 2022. He was survived by his father, George Costello; his siblings, Keith Costello, Donna VanAntwerp, and Danny Costello; his children, Shane (Libby) Costello, Samuel (Amanda) Costello, and Mary Costello; and his grandchildren, Lily Costello and Anthony Costello.

A celebration of life for Scott will be on February 10, 2024.
