Mitch, a beloved father of four and grandfather to seven, passed away suddenly on May 9, 2021 while at work. He was 62.

Mitch was born and raised in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, and attended Crestwood High School where he excelled on the wrestling team. He later worked in the automotive, construction, and landscaping industries. Mitch loved playing games with his children, going up north to enjoy the outdoors, and watching westerns. He loved animals, particularly Siberian Huskies.

After a series of health issues, Mitch recently returned to work part-time in Hartland, Michigan, where he lived with his beloved Siberian Husky, Jules. His kids and grandkids were regular visitors to his home in Hartland.

Mitch is preceded in death by his parents Mitchell and Helen Wasenko. He will be missed dearly by his brother Mark, sister-in-law Charmaine, children Mitchell, Brittany, Michelle, Alexandra, seven grandchildren, and Jules.
