Jared Tuckett

After High School I moved to Phoenix and then went on a mission to Tokyo, Japan.
I was companions with Jason in Nagoya, Japan for a couple of months. It was a lot of fun.
After returning from Japan, Jason and I worked at Deer Valley Ski Resort.(we can't seem to get away from each other).
I joined the Air Force in 1992 to become an Airborne Linguist. The first language I learned was Hebrew.(Jason also joined the
Air Force and became a Hebrew Linguist)
I spent 3 years in England and then decided to learn Chinese so that I could get stationed in Japan.
I learned Chinese but ended up in Tucson, AZ for 3 years.
After ten years in the Air Force, I finally got to Japan. I was stationed in Okinawa, Japan from 2002 to 2005.
Then I went to San Angelo, TX to become an instructor.(Jason was already an instructor there).
We have been stationed together for almost 3 years. It has been an awesome experience and lots of fun.
We enjoy wake-boarding, four wheeling, ultimate frisbee and all sorts of other stuff.
I will be heading back to Okinawa, Japan in Dec for 4 more years and then I plan to retire in Japan (near Mt. Fuji)
where my wife is from.
