Hmmm, let's see. Moved to California after high school, decided college was a bad idea. Yes, quite stupid of me. Met my husband, had my daughter, moved to Phoenix, AZ in 2001. Divorced husband in 2006. Found man who actually suits me, bright,talented, and always interesting; am currently living with him and my daughter in Tucson. Which is a beautiful place to live, except for the enormous population of creepy crawlies, which both disgust and delight me, depending on where I find them. Rachel was lucky enough to find a scorpion last night in her bathroom. After he stung her, I spent the next 20 minutes trying to determine what kind of scorpion he was out of the ruined pieces of his squashed little body (some good advice to all....should have caught the little sucker instead of smashing him repeatedly with my shoe).

Anyway, very proud of my daughter, she's beautiful and bright, and slightly evil. Fitting, don't you think? She's doing well in school, Honors English this year (my protege)and made the Freshman Volleyball team which keeps her out of trouble (at least this semester). As for me, I haven't worked full time since I divorced, been doing the kept woman thing. We're currently trying to decide whether to stay here in Tucson or move elsewhere. This is pretty much Matt's call, I am "Ruth" and I shall follow.

It is my intention at this point to attend the reunion if at all possible. Haven't been back to Spanish since Rachel was 6 months old, lots of family back there that I haven't spoke to in years.

My Mom said I had to edit this because I sounded hateful. So to anyone who might have been offended, I apologize. I don't have any school stories, high school wasn't a highlight for me.
