Joyce and I attended a 2 room school for the first six years along with Bill Merrigan,Carole Jones,Diane Carey,Billy Kelley, and Stewart Clements. She was very nice, very pretty, very smart and I remember she wanted to be a teacher. If she was here today, I know she would be one of the people working to make the 50th reunion great.
Joyce and I met at that two room school house (Brian Cranston mentioned in his post) Sept 1953 (first day of 4th grade). We were "best friends" for most of our growing up years til we were grown and went our separate ways. During those formative years we were something like sisters, sometimes we loved each other and some times we hated each other, but in all these many years we always sent Christmas cards to each other. Joyce, I'm so sorry life was not easier for you.
