Residing In: Florence, Oregon and Green Valley, AZ USA
Spouse/Partner: Jim
Occupation: nurse practitioner
Children: Jim and I have 5 children between us with 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, ranging in age More…from 3 months to 46 years, who live all over the country and in Italy. We love spending time with them and watching their lives shaping and growing. We would love to be able to spend more time with them, however, distances and their busy lives are somewhat of a barrier.
Comments:

Jim and I were fortunate to have reunited and eventually marry. We truly are blessed and have a wonderful life together and enjoy sharing this time of life. We live on the Oregon Coast in the summer and winter in a retirement community in Arizona. Jim loves golfing and I love my horse and riding everywhere; otherwise, we do everything together from working around our home, walking on the beach, boating, fishing, crabbing, traveling especially in our RV, visiting friends and family, gardening, entertaining, working out at the gym, swimming, and riding our bikes in both small towns where we live.

While my family was growing up I loved being their room mother, PTA board, and AB 65 chair person.

In my nursing career I donated many years to boards including the kidney foundation, Red Cross, state school nursing board, and a large district Student Attendance Review Board representing the medical profession.

I spent about 20 years farming and being involved with the Farm Bureau and held offices in that entity. I learned by trial and error about marketing products from our farm, product development, packaging, advertising and spent many days traveling and selling our products in farmers markets, home shows, wineries, and art or music venues from Lake Tahoe to the Bay Area. This was very satisfying and eventful as well as exhausting. So now it is OUR time and we cherish all of our time together.

School Story:

Shortly after high school I went into nursing school, but did not finish until returning and graduating in 1980. In nursing to advance it is not an easy task, there are always hoops to go through so I have spent many years in CA state college and university finishing with post graduate studies at UCSF where I received my nurse practitioner credential.

I have enjoyed a very rewarding career in many aspects of nursing including hospital, surgery, recovery, home health, school, public health, private practice, management and on a pediatric abuse response team doing evidentiary exams.
