I really never knew Nelson. I just remember walking home from Carlmont one day and he pulled over while driving that candy apple Chevy and offered me a ride. I wasn’t hitchhiking but he offered me a ride anyhow. How thoughtful and how I felt riding in his cool car was something I remembered forever, just a nice guy.

Bob I also found building street rods to very satisfying during times of distress. I have always been a car guy and have had many great cars, but building one is a lot more exciting than just buying one! This is a all steel 1925 T "C" cab pickup truck that took 3 years to build. It has a race 289 Mustang motor all old school stuff!
