Terribly to sorry to read of his passing here. Steve was a great guy and fellow musician. We played in the marching/concert band and in a dance band together. He had a great sense of humor; alwasy smiling, always a spark plug in any group.
I knew Steve at Carlmont in the band (he played tenor sax and I played alto sax) and I agree with the previous comment, he had a great love of life and sense of humor.
Very Sad to read of his passing. I worked for Steve's dad for three years in high school (New Mode Cleaners). I used to work on Rosh Hashanoh for his dad (the only day of the year that was a good enough excuse to miss school-accoring to my dad). We also played in a band together (not very well). Steve was my first roommate at San Jose State. The good life called to him however and we lost touch. Many fond memories
