I grew up playing baseball with Ed. He was always the best catcher in any league I played in with him. Ed probably could have gone pro if he wanted to. Fantastic guy, great team mate, along with his dad who was my coach as well.
So sad the way our good friend was killed. Our neighborhood had some good times when Eddie was around. Some great football games. He and his family were all great people. I can still remember those big chocolate brown eyes of his. Ones that would make you melt. May he forever be in our thoughts.
"Fadel Castro" Edy we still remember you and love you my brother. He was my crusty hog hunting broter,The craziest S.O.B.that ever drove southbound on State Street. If there is a God Love him and his family Ed Sr., Gloria,Lisa and Danny.

Ed Escobar was fun, funny and not judgmental. I enjoyed spending time with him and loved to watch him play a game he loved.I hope he is at peace with the Lord.
