Paul did not graduate with us, because he died during our junior year in High School.
Paul and I were not, what you would call good friends. But, one time when a girl and I had broken-up, he was empathtic, and gave me some good advice, which I've never forgotten.
He told me that instead of dwelling on the pain of the breakup, I should focus on the happy and good times we had enjoyed, and remember those things.
I don't recall the name of the girl, but I'll never forget Paul.
Paul Wood was my next door neighbor for awhile. I think it was while we were going to Roehm. It seems like such a long time ago but I remember the times we spent talking or hanging out at each other's house quite well. He was such a good listener about all my "girly stuff". I can't remember him ever complaining about anything though! Our moms were friends too and even though they had moved to a new neighborhood, when he got sick his mom came over to tell us. I was so sad and never got to see him again but I will always remember him.
