Marsha Elliott Hughes

I moved to Abilene for my senior year, but I am so happy that you guys let me come back to the reunions. I went to college in Canyon at then WTSU and graduated in 1973. I married Steve Jones in 1972 and had 2 daughters, we divorced in 1981. I was teaching and coaching at La Plata Jr. High in Hereford then. In 1982 I moved to Amarillo and started my career in Advertising, working at Accent West, radio and TV. I have been at KFDA since 1992. Married Tommy in 1986.

Together we have 9 grandchildren. They all live here except the oldest 2 girls. They are so much fun and keep life really interesting.

I am really looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. I think this web site was wonderful and allowed us to get to know each other better. Thanks Glynda!!

I really cherish my memories from Borger High and Sam Houston Jr. High. I have always felt like Borger was my home and miss having it to come back to. It's funny but I feel like most of my memories and best friends were from elementary and jr. high.
