What a great idea!!  My sweet husband and I will be staying with my parents, so we won't be taking up space in hotels, but if I didn't have family in Borger, I'd be taking someone up on that offer... such a friendly thing to do.

I am so looking forward to seeing everyone.  Thanks for the notes.

(And Tom Johnson - I have no doubt that you can still use that slide rule - I have mine, too!! ) smiley

Should not have trouble finding rooms in September.. The current problem was due to Phillips having a hugh turnaround at the Refinery. Agrium will be well in their expansion project but what that means is there will be no rent property or travel trailer slots available.

I will not be able to attend our class reunion again this time. Before it was due to losing my husband. This time it is a much happier reason as my son is getting married on the 13th. I pray that you all have a great time.

Your guys did a great job on the reunion and I appreciate all the hard work put into the event.  I had a great time seeing friends and look forward to the 50th round.  I was somewhat dissapoinited at the downtown section of Borger and other buildings in the area. I found out that an investor lady from California owns several of the buildings in the downtown area and it seem that she does not really care about the look or her investement.

For our classmates not on FB and not aware but Jake Minton had a heart attack in Lubbock on November 30th. He had surgery to install a stint and was released on Wednesday(Dec 3) doing well. Additional test were done in Amarillo. Been in contact with Lea and she said Jake is feeling great and will go thru a sleep study on the 23rd and the test showed that he will need an additional stint. Surgery for additional stint will be scheduled shortly after Christmas at BSA. Please pray for Jake and Lea. Thanks

Jake,

As you prepare for tomorrow's stent placement, know that each person -  the surgeon, anesthetist, nurses, and all are guided by Divine Wisdom, that your procedure from pre-op through recovery is uneventful and completely successful according to God's goodness and will.  Blessings on your day, thanks for keeping us updated.  Theresa Wolf Riggs
