Theresa Wolf Riggs

Life is interesting and fun on most every day. My mom and dad still live on Garrett St. in Borger in the same house I grew up in, and two of my sisters still live there, too, so I get up to Borger several times a year. I'm a recent newly-wed (2010), having finally met my soulmate online of all places. I had been single for 23 years, so this has been quite a change for me... and after living in Pierre, South Dakota, and in Wisconsin with Doug for six years, we have finally gotten back to Texas, living in Arlington. I'm still working as an RN after retiring from my long-held job at Denton ISD as director of health services. I work only part time as a self-employed health coach, and level 2 Reiki practitioner. Doug, my husband, has just retired after being in food service nearly all his life. He's wonderful... cute, a little younger than I, my blond-haired, blue-eyed Nebraska boy. He's a chef, and I eat very well!
I go to businesses and do health risk appraisals and health counseling/education for their employees. Talk about interesting. Life is good...

So many great stories, but I think some of my favorite times still center around being a part of our wonderful musicals and other plays.
I forgot to pull the curtain during one of the performance of My Three Angels (Mr. Hooper was backstage distracting me!) and the three onstage were ad-libbing to cover, until they just couldn't anymore. I think it was Jeff Shepherd who finally walked off-stage to do the curtain-pull... none too pleased with me!!
