UPDATE 2019: my girls have graduated. Haley is a career women working in the sports marketing field and loving it. She is still in Raleigh which I am loving. Tay is starting her final year in the Dr. of PT program at ECU so she is also near by which I love. Bobby is here working in the sales field for a company headquartered in Australia. I am grateful to have them all so close. My oldest son (who is not biologically connected to me but most definitely connected to me via my heart) lives in Asheville and has blessed us with a beautiful granddaughter. I spend as absolutely much time with her as possible. We still spend as much time as the coast as we can.... retiring there one day. Loving everything that life as to offer these days.
... After graduation, I attended ECU for my undergraduate degree in Psychology. After graduating from ECU, I moved to Raleigh where I was married for a short time and had my oldest child, Bobby... he is great (played soccer for Catawba and now attends NCSU). While pregnant with Bobby, I attended Meredith where I obtained my masters degree and subsequently went on to work in the corporate field as technical analyst, then a global project manager. (In the meantime, I met and married the greatest man ever). I was fortunate in that job, getting to travel to Paris and Canada regularly. Unfortunately my position was moved to Texas, where I was not going to go, so I decided to go back to school and obtain my elementary ed license to teach. In the meantime, I had twin girls in April of 1995. They are great. I was in the classroom for two years, however, missed the business side of a career, so I now own my own small education business. My father passed away on Feb. 9th and my mom is now battling cancer a second time. I am so glad that I am near by to care for her.
UPDATE: 2014
I still own my own education business and love it. This allows me much flexibility to attend USC football games where one of my twins is a cheerleader. My other daughter loves High Point University where is was freshman class president and will soon be the sophomore class president. My son is now a soccer and basketball coach so I attend all his games as well. My husband still travels alot but we can now relax at our beach house down in KB, NC.
