Maybe for all of us tied down with small kids
Saturday afternoon we could meet up at Aloha.
Anyone interested?

Michelle Carlson (Lopiccolo)

Tamra, I suggest you leave your kids at home with your parents and join me getting together with these guys. I'm sure you could use a break, I know I can!

Hey, I'll start bagging up the ice here at McD's, if anyone is going to be needing some give me a call.

I think Sat was the thought for boating because the music will be playing from 1-4 at the mouth of the river. We will have plenty of alcohol at the reunion for everyone to continue their party so don't worry about that.......... We will be selling drink tickets which will help us pay for the alcohol and some of the other expenses. We may do a seperate 50/50 as well. Can't wait to see everyone.....

Hi Everyone!
I was going to ask if there was going to be any boating activities that weekend, but I guess I got my answer... We just bought a brand new boat and would love to join the festivities... I don't think I read if there was definite meeting point or a definite time, so if someone could let me know that would be great!
See everyone soon!

The time for the music is from 1 -4 at the mouth of the river - sometimes in the summer there could be over 100-200 boats out there - so we will just try to get as close to the music barge as we can..... does that sound good? Also- for those that just want to walk out from shore they can from the public access point. That anybody that would like to stop out there could. Regardless of amount of boats!

Hi everyone- Been getting much feedback & even more questions about possible Friday day/afternoon/evening activities. Due to such a huge variation in peoples work schedules, arrival times, number & ages of children, etc (which I'm sure everyone can understand), I have come up with this simple offer: On Friday, July 24th, starting any time that people want to come, there will be an open get together at my house. I will provide cheap beer, pop & all sorts of food. Exotic drinks will be BYOB. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY event with spouses & kids especially invited, as I know many of you will not have child care lined up until Saturday P.M. The grill & bonfire will be lit by 7 P.M., & I have a large trampoline & play area for children. I know Squaw Creek (Indian River) is 18 miles from Cheboygan, but this should be a viable option for those shackled with ankle biters (kids). Directions from Cheboygan are very simple: I-75 South to Exit 310, turn left, go across overpass, & turn Right IMMEDIATELY after the overpass down Brudy Road. Proceed 5 miles South exactly, my house # is 9225, gray in color with a large green pole barn. All are welcome, & I hope to see you there.

Saturday 70% chance of rain and high 67 deg F.
Friday 30% chance of rain and high 75 deg F.
Maybe we should plan to have the boating festivities on Friday?

My husband just asked me "since when do people in cheboygan not drink outside just cause it's cold and rainy?" I think he really wants to take the boat out.

Yes, I'm listening! Downloaded 126 pictures last night from the weekend. Hello alcohol induced photo shoots. Trying to figure the best way to share, but I will post some & email to whoever wants them. It will be over the coming weekend b/c I am slammed at work & hanging with my boys in the evening - took 2 days off & you'd think it was 2 weeks. All worth it, though. My personal email is vinobella@live.com. Still not on facebook, but haven't ruled it out. I know, I know, Michelle, just do it already. What a blast it was to see everyone, went by way too fast. I'll let you know when I throw some pics out on my profile. Keep in touch, Jill

Kim,Karrie and everyone else involved, Hats off to the great job you did putting the reunion together. Shawn and I had a great time on friday(maybe a little to good of a time, didn't feel so good sat.)Anyway, I can't believe that we waited 20 years to have so much fun! It was great to see and hear how everyone's lives have changed. Here we thought we were the only people who's lives were crazy dealing with our lives and our children's lives? Right! Everyone I talked to was just as mental as we are, hence the no kid weekend and drinking to much. It was a lot of fun! Shawn and I are putting together a once a year canoe trip, in the middle of the state, off the rifle, it will be a weekend deal. 90.00 a person includes canoeing, camping fri.sat., breakfest sat and dinner sat. night and breakfest sun. It's a blast! We have about a 100 people! This year if anyone is interested it's the weekend after labor day. I will send out flyers for next year. Thanks again! I guess I'm gonna break down and give into michelle and get a facebook page, @least than I can harass the rest of you. Hope everyone takes care.

Hello to everyone, hope everyone living life to it's fullest and never taking a day for granted. I think of you all from time to time. Life has been good to me with it's UP's and down's but for the most all it's wonderful UP's. Never taking things for granted and seeing people for who they are and knowing there will never be world peace but making my life it's world peace ......well then that's the best I can do. Love one another and never let hate and greed into your heart for it will only shorten your life to the best things into come in life.
